This piece is painted on linen canvas paper. It is heavily coated with acrylics and finished in a satin protective varnish. The metallic pearl tones give this painting two lives- from one angle the pearl is bright and shiny, and from another the colorful undercoat comes alive. The work is finished with a semi-gloss varnish. It is sold with a backer board in a protective bag.
